The History of DJ bobby blackjack
My DJ Entertainment journey began as a teenager buying & collecting 12" records from the late Disco era & Freestyle Dance music. Soon thereafter I was booking paid gigs before I even had a driver's license with my 2 original partners under the banner of HOLLYWOOD DJ ENTERTAINMENT. We performed and entertained at various parties, weddings, public events and corporate gigs for close to 20 years all over Northern New Jersey and the Tri-State area before breaking up in the mid-2000's. I then began to work with my current DJ partner DJ BOOM and we made a shift to more long-term gigs and residencies in big party towns like Hoboken and Morristown (NJ) and other popular bars/lounges. I then moved to Las Vegas for 18+ months where I DJ'ed full-time including right on the World Famous Las Vegas Strip itself. Upon returning from Sin City, I then had a long-term gig at The Bada Bing, made world-famous by the HBO show "The Sopranos". After surviving the entertainment drought that was the Covid virus, I have been the House DJ at the well-known Villa Roma resort in the beautiful Catskill Mountains where I entertain crowds of all-sizes and ages, utilizing my vast music knowledge and uncanny ability to read my crowd! As the self-proclaimed King of the Flashback, I am well-versed at many genres of music and absolutely love to entertain. I am not just a DJ, I am an Entertainer!
